Dr. D.J. Csaszar
Dr. D.J. Csaszar received his undergraduate education at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology in 1999.

Dr. Csaszar completed his medical school education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) earning a Doctor of Osteopathy in 2005. At PCOM, he was awarded the C. Paul Snyder, D.O., Undergraduate Teaching Fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. This Undergraduate Teaching Fellowship allowed Dr. Csaszar to spend a year dedicated to the practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). During this time, he was able to practice and hone his skills through the treatment of numerous patients. While at PCOM, Dr. Csaszar trained with some of the top doctors and leaders in the field of OMM. He also trained with some world renowned orthopedic groups in Philadelphia, which ignited his love of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Csaszar completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. In residency, Dr. Csaszar learned all of the skills needed to be successful in Family Medicine, and he began to focus his career towards Sports Medicine. He started training with several Sports Medicine physicians in the Lehigh Valley area, in Tampa, Florida, and throughout New Jersey. Throughout all of his training, Dr. Csaszar continued to treat patients with OMM, further developing his skill in this area and adapting his treatment towards the athlete.

With continued interest in treating athletes, Dr. Csaszar completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship through Sacred Heart/Temple University, Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship, in Allentown, PA. He also underwent extensive training in male hormone replacement therapy and medical marijuana.

In addition to the hard work and dedication shown in the classroom, Dr. Csaszar is no stranger to hard work and dedication as a high level athlete. In high school, he played varsity football on both sides of the ball. He played Center on Offense, and on Defense, he played Noseguard.

In college at CCSU, a NCAA Division 1AA football program, he continued to play Noseguard on the Defensive line. While in high school and college, Dr. Csaszar also competed in powerlifting with the American Drug Free Powerlifting Association (ADFPA) on a national level. Currently, Dr. Csaszar can be found training in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) with plans to compete in Amateur MMA in the future. He has competed in Jiu-Jitsu tournaments with the North American Grappling Association. Through all of his experience, Dr. Csaszar knows what it takes to be a high level athlete, and he practices the medicine to keep athletes at their highest level.

Dr. Csaszar has a special interest and focus in Combat Sports, and he is a licensed Ringside Physician. Dr. Csaszar is Board Certified in Family Medicine/OMM. He is a member of the AOA, ACOFP, AMSSM, ARP, POMA, and AAFP.
