About Us
History:
Good Buds opened its doors on December 1st, 2018 as the only 100% Native-owned, Cannabis store in the Seward area. Our store provides premium recreational Cannabis products and glassware to the local area. Supporting our small town is very important to us. All of the owners grew up right here in Seward, AK and are dedicated to seeing our area grow and develop. Furthermore, Good Buds is proudly working with local Seward cultivators and glass artists to stock our cases with products made right here in our home town. Additionally, and of course, all cannabis products come from within the state. We are happy to be helping support the local community and economy by providing year-round employment opportunities.

Good Buds is currently working AK Frost (Anchorage), Budding Alaska (Seward), Lady Gray (Soldotna), and Alpha Kilo (Seward) to supply the highest quality flower and concentrates in the area, with a selection of Indicas, Sativas, Hybrids, and CBD Heavy strains. We take pride and care in choosing our vendors so that we can best serve our community. We also carry a large selection of THC free CBD products, including the 'infamous' Mount Marathon muscle salve perfect for any Alaskan activity. Good Buds is conveniently located right on the Seward Highway across from Exit Glacier Road next to SAK Town Liquor, and the best coffee in town, Mudd Hutt. Just 120 miles south of Anchorage our address is 11770 Seward Highway, Suite 2, Seward, Alaska, 99664. We are in an ideal spot to pick up products for your fishing trip, snowmachine adventures, or your next hike.

Location Information:
Seward, AK is located at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula. Seward is one of Alaska's oldest and most scenic communities, experience trophy sport fishing, glacier and wildlife cruises, sailing, hiking, kayaking, flightseeing, zip-lining, summer dog sled rides, and more. Seward is the mural capital of Alaska and it is a great place to visit year-round, as well. The community has events such as Polar Bear Jump in January, Whale Migration in April, Mermaid festival in May, Halibut Tournament in June Fourth of July Festival and Mount Marathon Race in July, Silver Salmon Derby in Aug, and Music and Arts Festival in October. Plus, our area is known for its winter sports too! Come see the Alaska SeaLife Center and meet your favorite marine animals up close! Our shop is located close to the Exit Glacier hike and nature center, as well as the Harding Icefield Trail. You can see famous Mount Alice from our parking lot as well as an eagle’s nest that has been there for 10 plus years, for a real Alaskan dispensary experience!
