The owners of 3D Cannabis were drawn to the cannabis business after it saved one of their lives. One of the owners was diagnosed with Leukemia 6 years ago. It was an aggressive form of the disease and he had to have a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor. The procedure was successful but the massive amounts of chemotherapy he had to endure left him weak and unable to eat. He was 6 feet tall, 112 pounds and was nauseous if he attempted to eat. They told him he would die if he did not eat- “Catch 22”. The only patients suffering similar problems at MD Anderson Cancer Center that were able to eat and gaining weight were eating cannabis edibles. He obtained simple THC gummies and ate one a day. Within three days his appetite returned, his stomach was calmed and he was eating like a “lumberjack”. The cannabis literally saved his life.
After regaining strength, along with family members he evaluated the cannabis industry in Colorado and dove in. The group purchased the 3D dispensary as well as farm land where they organically grow cannabis in state of the art greenhouses.
